Client: Fred & Friends

This series of metal party cups was inspired by the classic SOLO cup - a popular motif amongst young adults. I wanted to find a way to keep the party going as an adult, while still keeping the charm of the classic cup.

I started with a cocktail that is known for the vessel its served in, the Moscow Mule. Copper was, and still is, a popular material. For me, this was the perfect pairing of young and old, classic and trendy.

The Copper Party Cup became a top selling item for Fred & Friends, and has been sold at major retailers such as Urban Outfitters, Nordstrom, and the Museum of Modern Art.

I then proposed that Fred add to the best selling item by adding iridescent an gold finishes to the line up.
